Peoria city leaders held the ninth Don't Shoot Call-In Wednesday night. This call-in focused on group intervention. The message remains the same: put the guns down. Thirteen men heard the message for the first time Wednesday, bringing the total to 124 people who've responded to the call-in since the program started.
The message: Put the guns down, or end up like one of the many pictures on the wall, locked up for years, if you aren't killed on the streets first.
